Crescent Energy Services can trace its origins back to 2001, beginning with a single Rigless P&A Spread. With the momentum of several acquisitions, and its reputation and client list expanding, Crescent Energy Services grew to become one of the largest decommissioning and well abandonment service providers in both inland waters and the Gulf of Mexico. Crescent Energy continued to grow by diversifying and expanding its service offerings through the opening of new service lines including: Coil Tubing Services and Cased Hole Logging Services.
The company currently operates a fleet of eight (8) rigless P&A spreads, two (2) coil tubing units, two (2) Warrior logging systems, and two (2) inland quarters/crane work barges. These operations are conducted by an offshore staff of more than forty employees and supported by a full in-house shop and office staff to ensure its equipment is in peak operating condition and your project is handled properly. Crescent Energy Services is a state licensed contractor in Louisiana and an approved cementer in Texas, allowing the company to operate in Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf of Mexico. Located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Crescent Energy Services can mobilize to any location rapidly. Crescent Energy also holds an operator’s license through the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, enabling it to take over existing oil and gas properties from their current operators.
Crescent Energy has successfully plugged over 3,500 wells in inland, state offshore, and federal offshore waters for over 80 different operators throughout its history. While other plug and abandonment service companies have come and gone, Crescent Energy has remained a prominent and consistent force in the industry.
