Crescent Energy Services has a history dating back to 2001 when it started with a single Rigless P&A Spread. Over the years, it has grown through acquisitions and has become a leading provider of decommissioning and well abandonment services in both inland waters and the Gulf of Mexico.
The company currently operates a fleet of P&A spreads, coil tubing units, and two inland quarters/crane work barges. These operations are managed by offshore staff and supported by an in-house shop and office staff to ensure equipment functionality and proper project handling. Crescent Energy Services is a state-licensed contractor in Louisiana and an approved cementer in Texas, allowing it to operate in Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf of Mexico. Situated in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, the company has the capability to quickly mobilize to any location. It also holds an operator’s license through the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, enabling the takeover of existing oil and gas properties from their current operators.
Throughout its history, Crescent Energy has successfully plugged over 3,500 wells in inland, state offshore, and federal offshore waters for over 80 different operators. Despite fluctuations experienced by other plug and abandonment service companies, Crescent Energy has emerged as a prominent and steadfast force in the industry.
